Terry Wood

MRICS, MCIArb Senior Consultant

Terry is a chartered quantity surveyor who has spent most of his 40 year career in construction working either in private practice or for client bodies.

He has been involved in the commercial management of numerous major projects including, hospitals, office blocks, printing works and railways. His experience spans from development cost appraisals to management of contractual disputes, claims preparation, defence and adjudications.

Terry brings clients an attention to detail and a comprehensive knowledge of many forms of contract. He frequently works alongside solicitors providing technical support on complex contractual issues. Terry specialises in project audits, written contractual claims and has successfully managed a number of adjudications.

Terry’s initial experience was gained in local authority quantity surveying followed by management positions at Beard Dove, Franklin & Andrews, Gardiner & Theobald, and Wiggins Property.

Terry joined CR Management in June 1999 and is a member of the Society of Construction Law.
