Record Keeping
The fundamental discipline of detailed record keeping is the cornerstone to a successful project. Without records it is almost impossible to protect your contractual position in respect of extension of time claims.
We can help you when there are inadequate records in place and also to introduce effective record keeping procedures either for a project or within a construction or property company as a whole. We also provide seminars and workshops on record keeping so that you can receive training or provide record keeping training for your staff.
When providing a record keeping service for you we will provide you with weekly progress updates including:
- Percentage outputs set against the construction programme
- Marked up drawings
- Digital photographic records, logged and filed
- Video records
- As built programmes
We will also check that daily site records are being maintained and ensure adequate information is provided. As a result you will benefit from efficiencies and have prior warnings of things going wrong which will allow you to protect your contractual position and save you money.
