Alan Harris

FRICS, FCIOB, MCIM, FFB Director

Alan is a chartered quantity surveyor with more than 40 years experience in the construction industry working for major contractors.

Alan has successfully managed major projects both building and civil engineering from a commercial and contractual prospective and, since 1990, has advised clients on matters including contractual procedures, dispute resolution and adjudication.

Although a quantity surveyor by training Alan has in depth knowledge of delay analysis techniques and procedures and has been appointed as expert witness on a number of occasions on matters of quantum and contractual procedure.

Before setting up CR Management in 1997, Alan was director (des) with Capita legal support team, prior to which he was UK director with JD Kingsfield, specialising in dispute and commercial management. Previously he was regional commercial manager with Wimpey Construction and divisional director (Commercial) at Mowlem.

Alan is a member of the Society of Expert Witnesses and of the Society of Construction Law.
